For SafeSMS and Signature the u.assure Mobile Client is downloaded directly to any compatible device. The user creates their own unique PIN to assure who they are. When SMS information is sent from the u.assure Security Server it automatically starts the u.assure Mobile Client in the user.s phone and requests the user.s PIN . so u.assure assures the identity of an individual in exactly the same way as Chip & PIN. So without the PIN nothing will happen.

The UNIQUE plus factor with u.assure is that the PIN is NOT a shared secret - the PIN is known only to the user . not even your bank or favourite retailer gets to know what it is!

So just like your fingerprints your PIN is unique to you.
