On-site trial

By choosing on-site trial you can use Quickstart, SafeSMS and Signature with your existing directory accounts i.e. Windows Domain Accounts (although your own directory is not mandatory). Trial includes local Novell eDirectory (u.assure config directory) and you can add your trial user accounts there as well, if you like.

SMS messages you can send through our SMS Hubs (you can configure your own connections too). For trial purposes our Hub is free. To get a connection (TCP/IP) to one of our Hubs just create a new Hub Connector inside the Members pages (activated within few hours from your request).

INSTALLATION CHOICES

There's two ways to install u.assure trial (SNES server trial) --

• VMware Appliance (recommended)
• Installation packages (for Linux)

WMvare Appliance is easiest way to get your trial up and running. Simply import the virtual machine (VM) i.e. to your ESX and boot it. The VM contains a default setup which you likely not need to amend at all. You only need to configure the following things: 1. the SMS Connector, 2. the application with which you're testing with (i.e. VPN) and 3. optionally your own user directory (i.e. Active Directory).

Installation packages are just for Linux. There are no requirements for your Linux setup. Installation packages contain everything you need. Installation has three phases: 1. Installation of Novell eDirectory (SNES Config directory), 2. Installation of SNES service and 3. installation of SNES administration service -- MDA (which you can also use for LDAP administration in general).

SUMMARY OF TRIAL PRE-REQUISITIES

• VPN, WEB, SAP, or similar application for testing
• One or more user directories, i.e. Actice Directory (optional)
• UCP/EMI, SMPP or CIMD2 compliant SMS connectivity (either your own, or our Hub)
• Linux OS i.e. Fedore, Debain, Red Hat, Centos, etc (unless you're installing VMware Appliance)
